I got two questions, who makes some tight fender flares for my 02 gts and who has the best Turbo kit out there for me under 4gs I am stuck over in iraq now attempting to get all my parts and install them when I get home in a year so I have a lot of time to plan
BRB flares...and you cant get Turbo for under 4Gs...sorry to say man its gonna cost at least 5-6 grand for a Turbo and install
wtf are you talking about? the stafford kit runs about 3500 for the GT, and install should run about 600-700 dollars. or you can save yourself a shitload of money and build a custom kit, but it takes time to research the best parts for your car. thats what im doing right now and so far all my parts are costin me 2500, which is a FULL KIT. you can also install it yourself if you're mechanically declined. just need a good set of tools and a bit of automotive knowledge, which is what i am also doing.
alright since everyone is basically against a Turbo for under 4 gs what do you guys think about racing auto cross all motor. however my intrests still involve drag racing and a lot of togue racing. hit me up with what you think
stafford is gonna have a kit for the gts very soon that runs just under 4g, they are taking preorders now, should be finished very soon. it dynoed at 240 at the wheels and 170ft/lbs of torque on 8psi.
geez why don't you guys learn how to weld????? next week i'm going to make my own full exhaust w/ a 3-way cat, Turbo plunbing will come after all the internals get bought.(toyota T-TEN, welding 2(?), merced college Ca.) ask a dealership. you also find out about toyota's little secrets and use them to your advanage when tunning your gt or gts

in a year there will be plenty of GTS SF kits out. theres already a few out here in cali
I believe the base kit is around $3800 and doesnt need an aftermarket ECU because his kit is setup to use the stock ECU. which is why its the only kit right now working with the 03+ celicas
www.turbo-performance.com [turbo-performance.com] they have a kit for both the GT and GTS model celica.. for about 3500 w/o ecu upgrade i think.. I have one for my GT but i haven't had the time or money to put it on...
BTW with only 4 posts on this site and since you obviously have a lot to learnn about what kind of performanc eoption sare out for our cars you shouldnt flame people
So, fusiOn said that it would be a lot cheaper to put together a custom kit, I was just wondering if someone could post what you would need to buy to make your own kit, nothing fancy, im not looking to make my GT 300hp or anything, just a pretty basic Turbo kit, if that makes any sense.
