my husband have to show off my celica to some guys in a mustang and almost blowup the motor now its making a funny sound and and when i toke it to the shop they say thay need to take the motor apart to find out whats going on...why do you guys have to show off all the time?
no i did not tell them the story that to dealership i just said there is a sound that was never there before and the guys was that funny for a car like this and 03 and only 6,000 miles on it..it should not be doing anything like that
I know exactly what you mean. Every time I let my boyfriend drive my car, he feels the needs to show off. I shouldn't let him drive my car, because I know one day he'll be driving and somebody will pull up to him and want to race...and he will. ...in my baby!

I never let ANYONE drive my car (not even my own mother!) .. but not for sake of people showing it off and/or damaging something.. I just get PO'd when the mess with my mirrors and move my seat ! I can never seem to get them back to the right and comfy spot. Even when people have to get in the back seat, I make them go in through the passenger side..hehe. Hopefully your baby (the car) is ok in the end.
