Anyone currently have (or had in the past) a Kazuma and NOT gotten a ticket? I want to get an exhaust based on sound and Performance. Kazuma is my first choice (and I'm aware it's illegal), and the Racing Medallion by Tanabe (TSRM) is my second choice.

Also, what type of fine can I expect if I get a ticket? And what are the consequences if we get pulled over many times for the same reason - do they keep fining you, or eventually do they suspend your license? confused

My GT will be used for daily driving, and if a Kazuma will cause me a lot of heartaches, then it might not be worth considering.

Also, anyone happen to have a dyno or know what gains Kazuma will produce on an auto GT?

yes kazuma is made by TRD, but its the kazuma devision of TRD which is all "offroad only" products. when people say TRD they are talking about that axle back exhasut that everybody has.

automatic cars stay at low RPM's for almost 99% of driving...the kazuma KILL's your low end power which will suck for daily driving, and even when racing with the 4speed auto you land each shift pritty low in the RPM range where the kazuma isnt really makeing its real power. also, it just kill's me to hear a loud ass exhaust, then hear it change gears like an auto. the TSRM, and TRD both have nice sounds, and wont kill your lower RPM power.

seriously...the kazuma is only good if you are wanting to race, and do it often, which you probly dont seeing has how you got an auto. i go to the track at least 1 time a month (last 2 months ive got 4 times), so i race a lot (yea, lol, on the street sometimes also frown), and thats the ONLY reason ive got this exhaust. i garantee you that you dont think its as loud as it really is. i herd from everyone on the board about how loud the kazuma was before i bought mine, but when the car turn'd on for the first time after installing it i almost shit my pants. when i go to the track im one of the loudest cars there, amongst a bunch of racers (including the V8's).

get TRD or TSRM...im sure you'll regret getting the kazuma if you do

I have a GT and the Kuzuma exhaust will fit it. The problem is that this exhaust is extremly loud. The third day I had it on I got a ticket going down the freeway at 65MPH. This was in the wide open desert of the Mojave and the Highway Patrol officer came up from the rear. His words to me were, "It sounded like a 777 was going to land on the roof of his car". The Kuzuma has been setting in my garage ever since and I put my TRD back on.
