2 weeks ago my dad was involved in an accident and the guy who rear ended him hit him so hard that his chassy was damaged...now my question is when the chassy is damaged is the car considered salvage...i need response from people who know for a FACT that thats the case...thnx

It all depends...If the car is going to cost more to fix that what it's worth, it's considered totaled

from what i hear its an automatic thing...i mean you cant just CHOP off the chassy and just weld a new one back one you know...
