if i could get over 18k, and sell my mod's, which i could get over 800 for, i would have almost 19,000 dollars to spend on a car. with that much money i could get a mid 90's MR-2 Turbo, and have HELLA money left over. i just feel like my car is never gonna be fast, and its just sucking up my money just to hopefully run high 14's in not long:(

then i could buy this http://cgi.carpoint.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Viewitem&item=2479581415 (1991 mr2 Turbo), the car has a little over 100k miles, but the motor only has 36000 on it. and all i would have to do was fix some small stuff in the back of the car. i love early 90's mr2's, and stock Turbo OWENS, not to mention mid engine RWD

"You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your f------ khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world."
Y not get a eclipse/talon awd tubro. They only go for like 8k. And have lots of potential. And you can fit more peopel than the mr2.
have you looked at a back of an eclipse? there is no way a person is going to fit back there. But Christian its sad to see you selling your car. But you are right MR2s own!
Aiya. I say this everytime that someone is thinking about selling their Celi for an older car to mod, but here it is again...
Right now you have a car that is going to last you for YEARS without any trouble. Now you are considering buying an older car with more miles to (i assume) heavily modify the engine. Do you have any idea how much more time you're going to spend fixing things? How much sooner that car is going to finally bite the dust than your Celi would?
Wrenching on cars in your spare time is fun. Really, it is. But it's not fun when your car won't start and you have to get to work or class. And it's not fun when random expensive parts break down.
Save up until you can buy a NEW car that you can mod to your desire... or until you can buy a used car to wrench with on the side of your Celi.
I'm just a crosshair I'm just a shot away from you

No I havnt but i imange it holds just as much as a celica. And it looks bigger so I assumed more room. Either way sometimes its allways better to have the back seats. I use them often.
i'll be honest guys..i know my cellie gt wont be a speed demon ...(unless i spent like 12 gz on engone mods alone)..and even then it wont be over 300hp...u know what i mean?..so i do some engine mods for fun..but msotly..i jsut like working on it...i enjoy simply pushing the limits and getting positive feed back for being creative..i dont do it for others to sweat..but i definitly do enjoy haivng people compliment certain things...but i know its not going to ever be what other cars are..so im pretty much working on it out of love(knowing that IF i sell it).i wont get any of the money back on ALL the mods i did to it(so many people think they can buy a cellie..nod it..and then 3 years later sell it for like 20 gz..i was stupid once and thought the same thing...but thats nowhere near the truth...so anywayz, once the car is payed off next year..im going to keep it..and possibly start financing another car..with more power..but something i WWONT modify and dump crazy money into it like my celica..the only money spent will be the payments and maintance ..something like a corvette..it looks nice..its fast..end of story...and id keep the celie on the side for fun to work on and screw around with..anyne else agree? so any wayz..(i get carried away typing..but tahts cause im at work and id much rather do this...bottom line is...i agree..dont sell a brand new car for a used one...
