Does anyone know where I can get a hood that will allow me to use the trd supercharger?
I don't want to leave a hole in my hood, doesn't look right.

as far as i know the hood is custom made(obviously) and is not available to the public due to the fact that the trd supercharger is not made for the celica. so i think in toyotas prospective, why make a hood for something that was not ment to be used on the celica(aka s/c).

so you might be all out of luck guys
but i think the hood was made by a local bodyshop here in So. Cal. i think it was made by TPR autobody. correct me if iam wrong anybody who knows 4 sure.i remember reading it somewhere
if you need tprs info just go to the pacific forum and its on top of the page thumbsup

I found a guy who does boat repair to make one for me, I made the mold and hes in the process of building it. The cost was reasonable too, about 250, but thats w/ me making the mold thumbsup

car and driver's new boost magazine reminded me how the trd sc for the gt is so not worth it (more like "pop" instead of bang for the buck). any hood you get/make to accommodate their sc would also make your car look like it needs rhinoplasty (a serious nose job). but, if you don't care about spending thousands just to make your car a little faster than a gts and have a bubble hood knock yerself out...

you also have to understand that car had a full wide body kit, 19's and about 300 more pounds of shit that doesnt come stock on it. a bone stock gt w/ 15-16" rims will run low 14's if not better. + the drivers at that mag suck at driving, look at other cars they have tested they are all at least a second slower than they should be
