i just won a bid for 4 chrome rims on ebay from oe wheel at a steal of 250 but of course after i paid they said they didn't have them anymore. anyone else have trouble with ebay. what can i do. whats to stop me from overbidding on every one of there items and just not paying

A hint to help you to stop overbidding - don't make your max bid so high...sounds like common sense. Perhaps I am mis-understanding your question?????

hopefully you placed a bid on someone that has riveting feedback.. and i hope you paid via credit card as that could help things if they ran with your dough..

Honestly, if its anything over $250, I would go to an actual brick & mortar store...no online stuff, unless you backed up your payment (credit card, paypal).

yea as long as its a real aucution ebay has your back up to 400 dollers i think

and if you used paypal i would recomend gonig thru them its har dto find the non sending seller form but its on there jsut go in the help section

if you paid for it they should give you what you paid for or give $$ back.. what's the persons id? how's their feedback?

I WON A SET OF 4 CHROME CELICA RIMS, "NO RESERVE" WITH JUST A BID OF $250 PLUS $130 FOR SHIPPING FROM FLORIDA TO CT. THE COMPANY IS OE WHEELS AND THEY HAVE A LOT OF GOOD FEEDBACK AND VERY FEW NEGATIVE. SO WHEN THIS HAPPENED I POSTED NEGATIVE FEEDBACK SAYING "WON 4 RIMS AT EABY, PIAD, AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THEM TO SHIP TO ME" AND THE GUY RESPONDS TO MY NEGATIVE FEEDBACK WITH " CUSTOMER DID NOT PAY FOR 2 WEEKS, DIDI NOT RESPOND TO EMAIL, SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE...AND NONPAYING BIDDER, NOW THAT PISSED ME OFF BECAUSE I HAVE THE CREDIT CARD STATEMENT PROVING THAT I PAID THE DAY AFTER I WON THE BID. CAN I EVEN DO ANYTHING, I'M STILL WAITING TO GET MY MONEY CREDITED BACK TO MY VISE?

print everything out and since you paid by credit card your good. because you can make a claim to the credit card company saying non-delivery of goods and get your money back.

what was there feedback #? Ive sold and bought hundreds of items on ebay and not 1 issue. You have to be a smart buyer and read all the feedbacks and talk to other ppl who have bought from the seller in the past

WELL I CALLED AND THESE PEOPLE TURNED OUT TO BE ALRIGHT. THEY CAN'T LET RIMS GO FOR LESS THAN THEY PAY FOR THEM AND HE SAID PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW NEGATIVE FEEDBACK CAN EFFECT A COMPANY AND HOW MUCH BULLSHIT THEY ACTUALLY DEAL WITH AS SELLERS. THEY BASICLY APAOLOGIZED AND GAVE ME ANOTHER SET OF RIMS FOR COST AND CUT SHIPPING IN HALF AND SENT THE RIMS OUT IMMEDIATELY. NOW I NO WHAT IT'S LIKE FROM THEIR POINT OF VIEW...

good to hear everything worked out.. yah sometimes sellers who sell a bunch of stuff get real busy / mixed up with orders and its hard sometimes..
