I am getting one soon, but should i get the 8600 rev limit program??? that sounds a bit high to me. (i also missed shifted last year and blow up my engine, so i am a little cautious) what do you all think???

yeah get the 8600 limiter...
you dont HAVE to rev that high every time you shift.

having the limiter at 8600 on the pfc wont stop a mis shift, even if the stock limter is set to 7800 (02 gts) it still couldn't stop mis shifts.

OK maybe i did not make my question too clear. Is it safe to have your car rev out to 8600 rpm's???

MWR claims 9k was all they could get the stock valve train to take pushing the levels of safe. The problem isn't that the engine can't take it, it's that the valves begin to float.. upgraded valve springs and valves should fix this problem thou.
