Dear all,

I'm new in this forum. I bought a SS1 manual not long ago.
notice that there is some whinning sound coming from the gear box at the speed of 70-80km/h.below this speed, the noise is softer...above this speed, the noise covered by engine n road noise...

is this usual in the celica ss1 manual?

please help.thanks! rolleyes

I had that noise and it turns out it was the final drive bearings went bad. Check yer gear oil level and or take it to the dealer.

isit due to the differential gear or the gearings in the transmission?
