Hey everyone, I got this link for another forum, and decided to take a look, simply because it's calling my name.

Alright, I'll cut to the chase. I've got an 01 GTS, and I'm thinking of making some slight mods to the engine. I was thinking of a Turbo of some sort. That feeling when you're just pressed against the seat gives me a boner(figuratively speaking). Does anyone have any advice on what kind of mods I should get? I can't spend too much, I'm only a student, but I'd still like some decent mods. We're looking in the neighborhood of two-three grand.

2-3 grand will not get you a Turbo...maye the stafford Turbo when it becomes available.

2-3k worth of Performance mods w/out a supercharger or Turbo can include

cold air intrake or short ram Intake
exhaust
header
pulleys
nitrous

there are many other Performance mods though that are not technically 'performance' mods. these include weight savings mods such as

carbon fiber hood
lighter wheels
stickier tires among other things

Damn, ok. Let's start at block one. I know nothing about tuning and Performance, I just realized that I need it to at least save some face against my friend's new 2005 Subaru legacy GT. I have some more saved up, how much is a cheap Turbo gonna cost? How bout a decent Turbo? Secondly, what other accessoriesw will be affordable after the Turbo?
