any pics of a radar detector being wired underneath the center console at the top so that cig lighter is free?

well it can be done im sure... but does anyone have it done??? just have the detector wired straight so your cig is free

its prety easy to do , thats how I wired my Shift light , I powered it off my Cig ligter.

just becareful and know what wire to cut because there been some problem with the entire AC light just quit coming on..if that happen you can PM Chung, he figure out how to get it turn on again.

they have kits for wireing it into the head board, i bet the wires are color coded or come with a wireing guide, so you can match the colors from the celicas harness (say the stero) to the harness with the radar detector... just make sure you put in a kill switch so that you can not only turn it off when a cop pops up behind you but you can turn it off when the car is not in use (which could possibly kill your battery over time)
