I have been wondering about this and haven't been able to find it on the site anywhere. It would be nice if there was a "euro" style replacement for the hatchback brake light. Anybody know about something like this? Thanks!

watcha mean by "euro"? here are a lot of styles that can be considered euro but then again, if you look at current euro mags you'll see styles borrowed from the states and japan. still, the only mod i can think of is a vinyl overlay (e.g. from batmobile), painting it or shaving it off all together.

Something like this - only for the hatch light.
Even a clear cover would be okay.

trd makes a cover for it, but i think you have to buy an authentic spoiler to get it, part of the package

Exactly what I was thinking. I don't know if bat makes an overlay for the brake light other than the top of it. Shaving it is probably illegal. Painting it or custom overlay might be your only option and might be illegal also.

you want an altezza hatch brake light? Well - I would think an altezza hatchback brakelight would work and be legal. If it ain't out there, maybe some company would consider it. I can't believe I would be the only one interested.

Here's an altezza style for a third brake light for a mitsubishi eclipse. Somebody is thinking along these lines.
