TRD Springs Guide

The following is not a guide to the spring install, but rather a guide for people to see how much the TRD springs actually preform, as well as how much they lower the car. You should not attempt to do this install yourself unless you are a mechanic, or have delt with suspension's in the past.

I know that the TRD kit and the Eibach pro kit are supposed to be the same thing, and I have found from personal experience that the TRD drop is stiffer by about 20%.

The following are some pictures to give you an idea of what to expect.

Stock Ride height for the Front of the car, measured from the ground to the fender well lip is approx 26 2/16 inches. (Fig 1)

Stock ride height for the rear of the car, measured from the ground to the fender well lip is approx 26 inches. (Fig 2)

Here is a picture of what to expect once the springs arrive.

isaac,
I have 02 gts with 215/45/17 rims. I am think about lowering with TRD springs. Do you think is it going to drop my car nicely with that? or Do you recommend me to go with other product. Do I need to have to install the camper kit as well, or it's not neccessiraly. Thanks a lot for your time.

i have a question.
if i wanted to drop my celica like
an inch and a half, i will have to
look for a brand that says it'll
drop that much or can i adjust
springs to that drop ?

TRD gives a one inch drop correct? Would there be any differance with the TRD suspension kit that includes TRD shocks & springs? Because that is something I am kind of considering (more so just want) but I wouldn't want anything too low, something that is still legal ride height (suppose to be about three finger gap in the wells I think) and something that wouldn't be a bitch while going over speed bumps.
