Heres how you can test your alarm.

1) get in car
2) close doors
3) arm alarm system
4) wait till it gets armed
5) try to start car

OR

1) roll down windows
2) arm alarm
3) try to unlock the driver side door by reaching in side (Alarm will go off if you unlock the door)
4) attempt to start car while alarm is going off

If it starts, you dont have a kill switch.

I also tried to do this. When I tried everything went fine until the last step, then the alarm beeped 4X and the doors locked/unlocked 4x simultaneously. Tried it several times over the last week, same results and I still have to press the unlock button twice!
Is there a different sequence for the different model years??? Mine's a 00 GTS.
