i went to buy a TRD STD. Exhaust from my local toyota dealership/part center
and when i asked about buying the TRD Exhaust the man said it was discontinued
i was going to buy this exhaust but i never heard that it was stopped
has anyone else heard of this? or is their any other place in my area, LA county, california, that people know where i can get this

Never heard of that. If you want to order online, www.trdsource.com [ trdsource.com] has it for $469.99. If you buy from a dealer it will most likely be $550-650.

i think your dealership is stupid seriously...thats what i think the guy pulled out this little book flipped through a few pages and just siad it was discontinued i really think i saw it while he was flipping through but he would not listen and just kept on going o well this guy was stupid i guess

i bet its just not avilable for the new 04-05's... but i know they still got them for the "older" celicas... or at least at trdparts.com

not all toyota dealers sell trd. since each is privately owned they have to option to carry trd if they want to sign a contract promise sell enough to meet their numbers/revenue. that's the only thing i can surmise.

My dealership was just as ignorant, I ended up buying the Invidia cat back system.
Sure, they'll sell tuner parts for the scions, but ask for tuner parts for a real Performance car, and they get all stupid on you.
Just order it online, or call the other local toyota dealerships and request the info, you're sure to find a hook up. and yes, the TRD exhaust fits ALL 7th gen model years, so if they don't have it for your model year, ask about the earlier model years too.
