Celica Forums General Discussion General changing from bad to good

So my cars in the shop and it was diagnosed as a broken spring on the reverse idler gear. itll take about a week to get in. i was pissed, cause its already been in a week. good news is warrenty will cover it.
then a light clicks on in my head. even though i only have about 15k miles on it and virtually no clutch wear, i couldnt pass up the opportunity.
im getting the tranny pulled and put back in for free, so why not do the clutch and flywheel right now. the toyota tech said about 80 bucks to get them put in, which is so much better than up to 1000 that ive heard for the install. so i ordered an ACT street clutch and fidanza flywheel this morning. haha!!!!!
moral of the story is, even when your car breaks and you get pissed off, every now and then it can save you a shit ton of money.

thats the only way to do it man, you can get screwed over and over again, but sometime you'll come out on top.

just go the clutch and flywheel yesterday so i dropped those off, so im hoping maybe tonite or tomorrow it'll be done. i wanna go draggin on friday, but looks like im gonna get rained out for the 3rd straight time.
