My friend is car know it all and he wants to start a sponsership website (stores look, if they like they contact him, he contacts the car owner, hook up occurs) for 20 dollars a year, i am fine with the price but i am a little worried about the successfulness of this. I know my celica is not great but i want to see how i can get attention for the people near me (mainly for sponsership) what do you suggest i get? (planning for my kit and Intake soon.) this is my car so far Firestorm's Celicaby the way, i now have chrome tails

first step... get rid of those tails...
second step... get a name brand body kit and PAINT it...
third step... get some awsome forged rims
fourth step ... get a killer system
fifth step... put a proposal together of what you can do for the company you wish to sponsor you... then if they like your car ect... they will sponsor you...

Why does everybody around here hates chrome tails ? I like em a lot and I don't see why EVERYBODY seems to be against em.. is there a reason for that that I should know about ?

Maybe it's the fact that you see them on every honda civic in your neighborhood... and it's not just chrome tails. Chrome rims look horrid. Chrome accents on the outside. The celica is not a luxury car and just can't pull it off with a person adding bling bling...it just looks cheap and rice. IMO...and most of the celica community.

chrome tails look retarded on any celica also, you need to put some more time/effort in if you expect to get sponsored. It sometimes takes spending a lot of your own $$$ before you get any good sponsors but you'll def want to write a proposal.

You might get a chance of being sponsored if... 1. You buy the CAI 2. Add a body kit 3. Get some 17" or 18" rims 4. Drop your car Do all that and let us know how it works out. Good luck.

I think chromed tails look ghey on any car, and I hate how they are appearing on Lexus' as a factory option.

Good luck. the cai i am about to buy CAI (AEM since it gives better gains for low RPMS) within a week, the body kit i will buy in 2-3 months, rims migh ttake a while to save up for and the drop will too. But why drop when you get a kit, i got a lot of speed bumps near my school and town

Huh, those tail are ok, if you like them.. but try to find some carbon fiber ones..
I don't know, but i don't think Celica would look good in Chromed.. Celica is a sport car, there for it looks way better when it looks fast and agressive rather than Bling Bling slow Chrome...!!

^^ what he said. hell I'm the fastest N/A celica around, o tmore exposure then I could want, pending mag articles and I still cant get a decent sponsorship. mainly cause I dont have the time to commit my self to any one but hey good luck and remember not to get discouraged when you get denied. happens to the best of us

pretty much what all these guys are saying but remember to be original to some extent. those chrome tails are seen on everyones car. yeah its going to be hard to be original but you got to try. As for your streets with speed bumps you might want to find a daily driver and keep your car garaged. you dont want to have a kit and break it the fist day and you dont want to chip the paint. most people who have a sponsorship dont use their car that is sponsored as their daily driver, they have another. but good luck with everything

yes not many elite level sponsor cars are driven other than weekends. Definately not possible to daily drive a show vehicle unless you're repainting all the time b/c stone chips and normal tear and wear start to show.

Humm I don't know if SCP would count as sponsorship.. but is easy to get in... humm they sell you the pieces for whole sale prices... so you really get a deal, but I don't think that it would be clasiffy as and sponsorship thingie..
