What do you think of boss audio ??
I changed my head unit (Kenwood MP522) last month... but now I need more bass...
So I went to some store... at one place... they suggest me sony Xplod...(or something like that...) then a little upper the a boss sub and an amp... I tell the guy's that I never heard of that company (Boss) So his telling me that Boss is a big company in the united state and they are in audio competition for many years and that's is quality...
So what do you think of boss audio ??
Or I can go in Kenwood for 169$(can) for a 12 inch sub 380 $ (can) for an 1000W amp... what should I do ????

Never heard of BOSS audio. When I first looked at this thread, I misread and thought it to be BOSE. Could that be what the salesperson was telling you about...

Boss audio is a very low end product and sold at stores like wal mart and some auto parts stores. they may have changed things in the past couple years but I know a few years ago the stuff was total junk

yes i've heard of them and yes they are garbage...dont waste ur money Stick with Alpine, JL, or kicker for subs

Yeah Boss is shit. You can tell when you look at it too, it's like it makes too much of an effort to look durable. Xplod is so so. I'd say stick with Kenwood or save up and get some really nice shit. You mentioned audio competition and the boss sub, if you're looking to do any of those save up for something really nice, because kenwood, xplod, etc etc aren't going to win much unless you put a shitload of money into it.

Hehe  I do know Hugo BOSS  so when I looked at the treat I was like lol they make audio equipment to ?  did some research and seems to be crap on some reviews I found.. Bose is awesome but Boss seems to be a pos

I have heard of Boss and they are junk. So is Kenwood. JL Alpine and Kicker make some of the best subs.
