Finally got the car lowered today. Went all Tokico. Install by my regular mechanic--$120. I'm really happy with it, what do you think?? Thanks 1).

Yah, a little bit high, but I think it suits you because you are driving on dirt, rocks, hills, bumps, and you dont want to mess up your bumper to much

Damnit greg...I accidentally clicked on this link..i wanted to see it in person first.
It looks very sweet, and I think it's low enough for PA's roads. We have some of the worst roads...and I think they are very bad in and around meadville. Nice change!
PS: You guys also must remember, greg has no body kit. He is wanting to get one though. A lot of kits sit lower to the ground, so it may very well make it around 1/2" - 3/4" lower.

drop is supposed to be 1.5 I believe thats accurate. Tires are 40's, rims 17 so that still leaves a little wheelwell room.

The handling is really a big difference, and believe it or not the ride is smoother, not harsh at all. My stock struts must have been pretty worn (70,000 miles) but it rides really nice. best of both worlds.

I still like the tribal slashes, after over a year, but I removed the other stuff, it became to Busy for me and I wanted to clean up the look, but I do still like the slashes, seems to me to go with the body lines, but..to each their own!!

you have that backwards,I have her convinced that six inches is real 1.5 inches so shes not overwhelmed everytime.
but car looks good you would have been happier with a 2inch just like you would have been happier with 18's but i know you have the HAG so i understand

no actually I think 2inch would've been too much for me and where I live and my gravel driveway. I didn't want to be slammed, just tasteful and mostly the handling. 18's though I see on the horizon...

with that kind of drop do you ever have trouble scraping on extra angled drive ways and speed bumps?

It looks good.
You should start thinking about a body kit soon... maybe WingsWest if you need something high for PA roads.

Don't think your drop is 1.5, my Tanabe springs are 1.5 and my rear wheels alomost tuck. If you got the Tokico HP kit then its a 1.25 drop. BTW you said you did not want to know if you got ripped on the price? The install price is right on the money, the parts however... ...lets just say you could have saved a few dollars.

Thanks guys. I am getting it aligned tomorrow that should make even more difference with the handling. I thought the drop was 1.5, but 1.25 is ok too, I'm happy with the stance, and even though the wheels don't tuck, its WAAAAYY better than the SUV look I was sportin before!!
