i just got eibach sportline springs.. and it used to be like a 1.5 sometimes even 2 fingers in the wheel well gap for the rear.. but now its been sittin 1 finger in the wheel wells now.. so the question.. have my springs settled? i got the springs like a month ago
it says in your profile that your tanabes are a 1.5 drop, and you say it looks like mine? mine was a 2.4 drop lol. you sure you got the right springs? haha but props if it looks like mine.. because then it must look good
I did the finger test and took out a tape measure, rear 1 finger (3/4") front about 2 and half fingers (2"). So thats my gaps with the Tanabe GF210 springs.
Hey guys/girls... when I got my sportlines I was told by Eibach that there was no "settly time" so it was safe to go get an aligmnent right away so I did, the next day. Now it seemed wierd to me that there was no settle.
Now I'm thinkin my alignment is probably off cause of the apparent settle time which would put it out again
actually i had another question... whenever you raise ur car.. the aftermarket springs get decompressed.. and i know that when you drop it back down it takes a while for the springs to compress again.. and does this mean that they have to take 2 weeks again to settle?
