Ok so tonight i was with some friends and we started to talk about Celicas and one of them said that in Japan they have a Celica GTS-SS which has 240hp , i think that is not true, i told them that the Celica SS-II has 190 and some different suspension but that they have no GTS-SS with 240 stock. 2 of my friends kept insisting about how there is a GTS-SS but i kept telling them there is no such thing, that the most powerfulest stock 7th gen. Celica is the TRD Sports-M and that only has 200hp stock. So someone correct me if im wrong but still i say that there is NO such thing as a Celica GTS-SS in Japan with 240hp stock?

whoever said GTS-SS is a moron, there is no such thing. the most powerful celica ever was the GT4, aka alltrac with 240hp and awd (correct me if the hp number is wrong)

I think there is.. it's the old rally celi with AWD I think Norway GT is right.. it just doesn't look as nice as the new gen imo.. that's why I'm getting a new gen.. other wise I might go for that one

Seventh Gen. in Japan has 190hp, so do a few other countries, I'm not 100% sure on the details but some countries have more slack emission laws so there is something they have or rather don't have that gives them the extra 10hp that we don't have here in North America or perhaps Europe.

The term SS is like a generalization.. there is SS and SS-II, I already posted on this forum was to what.

if i'm correct ALL european countries have a GTS (t-sport) with 192 hp.. atleast Belgium Holland France Spain Italy and Germany do have it but dunno bout a more powerfull one.. there is a japanese guy on the board right ? why don't you ask him he knows

no the all trac is 200 bhp stock, the 6th gen gt-four (96-99 japan) is the 3sgte that is 240 hp

In Europe it's 240 HP stock aswell
