I'm trying to decide on which exhaust to get...what does everyone have? or what is the best? I'm not looking for a really loud one, just a nice sounding one and I've heard good about the TRD exhaust, so please let me know thumbsup

yeah TRD is the way to go, after a week or so of breaking in, it sounds amazing, and you don't have to worry about shit from the cops

http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/0209tur_exhaust/index.html

turbo magazine did a huge thing comparing a bunch of exhaust systems on the celica, this is the link. if you want a quite one and still some good power then definitly the TRD, but take a look at the info on the link and gather the info on all the products and then you can choose your favorite

Hey, its a celica. What else do ya need to know?

Don't spend money to make your car louder, spend money to make it go faster.

I've got the TSRM with no resonator. I have not had any problems with the cops. You shouldn't have problems as long as you are not being obnoxious with it. I recommend TRD, TSRM, or thermal. No one seems to have thermal. I wish I went with Thermal instead of Tanabe. Thermal is known for their exhausts, you know that you are getting your moneys worth. But it will be louder than TRD. TRD is about the same as TSRM performance wise, but not as loud.

Greddy's evo exhaust is actually heavier than the stock exhaust.

i have the obx racing cat-back system for my celi..
its freakin sweet...4-3/4" tip, its not loud , just gives it a nice rumble and makes it sound more aggresive than stock. i love it!
there is an issue with clearance/rubbing on my 03, but i'm not sure about the earlier years, i fixed it though. wasnt too hard, i just used that exhaust heat wrap, and makes me look like a hardcore racer!

TSRM isn't that loud, sounds really nice to me. TRD same as well, but a little quieter than TSRM. Go with either one of those.
