don't have one yet but top (legal) 2 are trd and tsmr. i may go with trd or tum (same specs as tsmr but titanium muffler and lower sounding "growl")

I like the sound. Nice and deep. It's fairly loud when you hit the gas, but the sound backs off when you're cruising, like on the highway for instance, or at 3am when you're trying to come home quietly.

Yeah... i love the sound. You basically described the trd exhaust. i was looking for the same exact things in an exhaust and trd is the way to go. i do a lot of highway driving and its not ear-piercing like other exhausts you have probably heard. i'm sure you will like it if you do end up getting it.

as others have mentioned, the TRD exhaust has a respectable deep growl with a nice increase at higher rpm's... it is noticeable but not crazy loud
- that being said, if you're looking for more decibels -> keep looking... imo however, TRD has the best Performance/sound ratio out there

What kind of price did you get for the exhaust? I just checked the TRD dealer around here and they said it was $525 plus $65 for install... good price or keep checking?

well this is the regular exhaust, not the extended... so I might go shopping, only problem with that is I'll probably have to pay just as much because of shipping. Thanks for the info!

I got my TRD extended for $486 after shipping it came to $515. Real fast shipment I orderd it on a thursday and got it on a tuesday. Install is easy just follow the Installs page on TRD Exhaust-How to remove. It took me an my buddy like 30 mins to do. Its just two bolts and three rubber hanging peices. Kind of a pain in the ass if your doing by your self but its possible. I would deff get the TRD and install it your self. If you havent got it yet let me know and ill give you the number to call. Its a Toyota Dealer in VA.

trd has teh nicest gains but only by maybe a horse. nothing you willever notice.
also it does sound nice when you get on it. but cruising the Intake is louder it almost soudns stock with a slight growl till abot 3k.very slight
if you want a nice quiet exhaust that sounds good when your rnnin hard then trd. if youa relooking for one that people will here as you drive by cruising get a different one

Which exhaust offers decent gains, but doesn't sound obnoxious?
