Talked to toyota yesterday, and they had fixed what they thought was wrong with my tranny, installed my act clutch and fidanza flywheel, and bolted everything back together. started it up and made all the same noises. so they're ripped it out again and theyre gonna tear it down today, replace all the bearings and put it back in one more time. If that doesnt work then i get a new tranny for free. this makes over two weeks its been in the shop. just for fun i took some pictures yesterday.

no i dont really care wether or not i get a new tranny, i only have 15,000 on the car, but theyve had it apart so many times already and cant figure out what the noise is coming from that they dont wanna deal with it anymore. id rather they figure it out today and get it back together so i can have the damn car!!!!!

theyre charging me like 60 bucks for the clutch and flywheel, cause the tranny install is under warrenty. man they charged you 60 bucks to bolt on the clutch and flywheel, once you have the tranny off, it takes all of about a minute...well at least you might get a free tranny with it

yeah but 60 bucks compared to about a thousand usually for the install. you gotta remember that toyota charges like 80 bucks and hour.

i got a new tranny for free bout a three months ago and had them install my fidanza flywheel. i guess i got a direct 00 replacement tranny because my TRD shortshifter works find and shifts just like it used to. Good Luck, either way the tranny will be covered under warrantee until 60k.
