I recently installed my gen 2 AEM CAI on my '04 GTS and my CEL comes on. I got the code looked at today and it was P2441 "Secondary Air Injection System Valve Stuck Closed Bank 1." Any ideas on why this is coming up? For those that have a AEM did you plug the blue wire harness into the piece from the storck airbox or is it left alone?
Also I have tried resetting it and it runs fine (no CEL on)and then after it rains or is raining the CEL comes on. Does the rain get on the the piece with the "blue wire harness and mess this up? Thanks in advance for for any advice.

Your CEL came on normally as to be expected because you just installed it and it takes time for your ECU to adjust the fuel map, etc. It didn't come back after the reset because your car learned. good baby. Rain and cold air Intakes don't mix. Water is probably getting in your engine. Anything can happen at that point like a cylinder misfire, and that would cause a CEL. Try making a splash shield under your car where your Intake is. Be very careful about puddles when it rains. If you don't have one already, get a Bypass valve.

Actually I've been reading on the boards that the bypass valve is pretty much useless for the celi. but you might want to try this also for the wheel well.. i used clear 2 liter plasitc and black silicone to seal it in.. as far as the "CEL Code P2441 " not sure perhas the MAF sensor is dirty? i know I have to clean mine since I just got the CEL

Throw the fog light?
