Hi guys, since I have not yet driven a 5spd OR 6spd Celica, I was wondering how the feel of the clutch is?

So far i've driven a 02 RSX 5spd (base), Tacoma 5spd, and a 97 Maxima GXE 5spd... Out of all those I must say that the RSX has THE softest clutch by far, it's so smooth and easy to press... I was wondering how the celica pars up with the RSX clutch... Also, where is the stock clutch's "catching point" (further depressed? further pressed? about half way pressed?)

Also, as the subject topic states, how would the JDM and American TRD clutch compare? Are they stiffer/lighter? By a lot? Where is the "catching point"?

Thanks for reading guys, responses pleasE! thumbsup

The catching point of the 6 speed is about 2-3 inches from the floor. There is no cramming your foot into the firewall to switch gears. Its super smooth and responsive. You should definetely test drive it before you go with the rsx...
