Kam kit should come with a grill wtf

or so I thought

you might as well go to home depot and get "gutter topper," that's what everyone uses

You could have a shop install it if you don't want to do it yourself

you can order grills directly from Kaminari but it's hella expensive... if you're on a budget then go to home depot...

i just went to home depot...bought some mesh that looked nice and i think i will use it total cost $7.50
before that i went to this fancy place called cuztomised autowurkz near by that deals with customizing european cars and they had a kit in there for a mercedez benz.. the bumber alone cost $8,000.00 and he wanted to sell me some grill mesh for my car at 500.00 spineyes
i checked out the grill and was like "umm... that looks like chicken wire mesh dude!" ," that shit looks cheap bro!"
somehow he got offended, so I left. Seriously that mesh that was on there looked so cheap I think the stuff I got at home depot was better quality. spineyes

If I get that stuff at Home Depot, what do you cut it with? Or should I make them do it?

Home Depo grill is not even... the grill is all slanted & are not perfect. i dont know why people use those. Just spend the extra 30 bucks on a real grill ment for cars and make it look good.

last thing you want is a shitty grill on a nice car

my 5 cents-

What did you guys use to attach the grill to the bottom of the middle area. I couldn't get mine to bend with the body like everyone else's does, so there's a gap on the bottom between the grill and the body because the grill goes straight across? I just bought the grill stuff from Home Depot & painted it, but I'd like to fix the gap if possible.

Quote from gts24 on NC

After countless threads like this one:

Where essentially nobody really knows for sure if Kaminari sells the grill that is on their showcase car or not, I've finally got everything together and even a part #.

Always interesting, where one person calls Kaminari , and a representative at Kaminari says "just go to a hardware store and get some there".
Then another person will come onto the site and state "Yeah Kaminari sells it, just call them up".

My experience went like this:
I called Kaminari, I asked to purchase a grill for my yet to be installed Kaminari kit.
His response: We usually just have people go to a hardware store and pickup whatever they want there.
I then pushed him on the issue, i said, well I've heard that, but I've also heard that Kaminari sells a grill that is of better thickness and is just like the silver kaminari Celica on your website.
his response: Oh, well lemme go check in the back in the wharehouse to see if we have any... he then says , I'll call you back.
I waited a few days , got no call back so I called them and he had the full story for me.
him: we do sell it, here's the part number then go to this website , then call us with your cc #, you need 3 peices @ $40/pieces and it'll be $20 to ship.

So in summation:
1. Kaminari does sell the grill that you see on their car.
2. The part number is: K0GRILL (-the second character is a zero.)
3. Go to the order page on Kaminari's website, direct link: http://www.kaminari.com/order.htm Fill it out
4. You need 3 pieces if you have a full Kaminari kit
5. Each piece is $40, add $20 for shipping.
6. Call the number on the bottom of the order page to confirm it, and give them your credit card number.

Heres a pic of the stuff, I like it because it's a honeycomb mesh , rather than the diamond shaped stuff that people typically put on their cars.

mp3Supply,

Dude I've been waiting for your avatar to pan down and that chick to get into the shower for several months now. I think you should either let nature progress or take that down, its too much.
