Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Getting a stereo... which one?

Hey everyone... looks like I'm going to be getting a stereo from my parents for my birthday tonight or tomorrow. I've narrowed it down to four choices... but I thought I'd get some input from people who aren't on commission.

yea i had panasonic i liked it...now i got pioneer...can't go wrong with either...i happen to like that panasonic model tho it looks good

Yeah, I'm in love with the Pansonic graphics... but up until last week, I didn't even know they made car stereos.. so I have no idea about its sound quality

Pioneer and Alpine make the best decks in my opinion and from my experience.

Panisonic isn't a bad brand for audio, but I still gotta go with the pioneer

here dude... we got my stero a couple of years ago for this other car... and when we sold it we took it out...

if you do someplace that has performace plans (like best buy) get it... cause those terminals can get fucked up from over use, or exposure... the terminals on ours got screwed up... and we took it back and they installed a brandnew one the same day free of charge... its a great deal... (maybe dont have them install it though, just do it your self, gt(s) are easy... pm me if you need any help
