most things will fit, with modification of the firewall and suspension , but yeah, with minimal modification, the 3sgte is the best bet

yea...but not all motors will fit in the engine bay without redoing the ENTIRE front end which is pointless.

we all know that the vvtl-i is the best engine that toyota makes the liter to hp ratio is good but i don't think it's the best...the 3sgte was good, so is the supra TT engine (forgot number designation)...you have to marvel at something so strong it can withstand boosting up to 900hp.

i say the best engine so far was the 4age with vvti ahhh the early years of lift also the 1mzfe supercharged (drool) even though its a V6 its pretty small and i wouldnt be suprised if its the same weight if not a little lighter the the current engine.

^^ Anything fits with the right amount of money. Exactly...I remember when it was 'impossible' to fit the 3sgte engine in the celica due to space...

If were gonna try and get an engine in there, it'd be that Inline 6 from the Lexus IS300. It's essentially the Supra engine without the twin Turbo.

yeah, any engine will require some degree of fabrication, but the 3sGTE fits with just fabrication of the motormounts, and not having to move the firewall and all that crap

ya it is...i mean the fitment though...not much to fabricate there... yes this owner almost went over board...looks like a single greddy Turbo...which proves that it is a different engine...because our engines dont have a greddy Turbo kit in production "yet"

The 2zz-ge is not the best engine toyota makes. It is the highest technologically advanced valvetrain.
I'd say another excellent motor is the BEAMS 3S-GE (NON-TURBO) with dual VVTi. There is lots of power to be made with that motor. That and the 4zage
