How easy is it to take apart your light? Also, how long did it take you?

^^hell yeah bro..heheh..i'm just waiting for my sister to give me my laptop back..after that i'll hook the webcam up and go out and take some pics so you guy can see it...

-Chaz----it's pretty easy bro..what i did was i pre-heat the oven, i just press the Bake button, set the temp to 305degree..other use 300degree...after 2mins of 305degree i turn it off and put the light inside right away..wait 15mins (wait the entire 15mins) take them out, i use a flat head screw drive and start at the top and pry out from the edge..once i can get my hand inside the crack i just pull it straight out..that way i don't have a lot of the edges sticking out..took about 35-30mins to take apart both headlight..and took another hour to paint it..so generally u're looking at between 1.5hr to 2.5hrs top..afer i painted it i put the headlight back and pushes as tight as i can, now preheat the oven again like the begining and put ur light back in the oven for another 15mins..so the total i guess would be around 3-4hrs...oh yeah i waited overnight for the paint to totally dry out..but 3-4hrs is what you need if u're doing it in one day..

too bad that's a long ways down the road for me cry

Maybe I'll get bat's overlays in silver until I can paint it black.

Looks great. I like it a lot. I was thinking about painting mine also, but decided not to for 3 reasons in no particular order. 1. condensation in my headlights. 2. taking the headlights apart. 3. To me, on my silver car, the stock clear headlights can't be beat, till this day. Clean and simple = perfect. Do your tail lights to match your headlights also. Not only that, but the sidemarkers and the third brake which everyone is forgetting.

umm for anyone planning on doing this I suggest using a heat gun to melt the epoxy if you want to be safe. that wasy you can really control the temp and prevent it from melting... thats my 2 cents

Looks 100x better then the blue you had, I'm suprised you could even drive down the street with that old color without hearing people screaming "RICER" every block. The black looks great though nice work.
