I took mine off with Dental Floss and a Hair dryer then scrubbed the shit outta it with Bug and Tar remover with an old sock, then went over it with the claybar looks awsome
2k Celica in the sun alot. and hte paint had no fading. Cant tell they were ever there.
goo gone is pretty good stuff but i don't recommend it because i use that to remove my emblem and i got paint chip..
the best way to do it, is to slowly pull the emblem out without heating it or spraying anything on to the bakc of it..after you pull it off you will have the glue stuff still on it..try to pell as much away as you can and get some duck tape (the grey color kind) and put on top of the extra glue and pull out keep doing that until no more glue is left..best way to remove any extra glue..it's like the hair remover method using wax that women use..apply and pull..
don't rub you will smear the glue all around, it'll be harder to clean..just use tape, you have to use adhesive on adhesive..glue will remove glue..apply and pull, apply and pull..repeat and repeat..that way it'll be clean..totally..trust me on this..i've done this many time..on other thing ofcourse..
What year is the car? On my 2k (3 weeks ago) There is no way trape would have taken it off. it was old and crusted on there, only way to get off was the Tar remover and a lot of Scrubbing with the ... textured.. part of a sock.
when i use it i got paint chip..man i'm still pissed whenever i wash my car and seeing that chip..well keep the goo because you gonna have lots of use for it..just spray a lil bit of it..not too much..

Why you got paint chip? Did you use too much? Or Goo Gone is not for cars?
