Car ran fine for a day after putting my Exhaust on so I dont think its that

I jsut replaced my Sparkplugs from the ones that were in there whe nI got the car with Busch Platnium +4's

Now below 4k RMP it feels like im in a geo metro. 1st gear is ok, 2 slows down alot, and 3-6 jsut no power can have the pedal to the floor and it jsut slowly creeps up, then at 4k or so + it goes back to how it used to be.. Responsive and fast.

I was driving it around all morning jsut fine this all started after putting hte new plugs in... any ideas?
MAF sensor cleaning maybe?

Well I just took my sister shopping and got my toung pierced .. again.. I thought it was cause she was in the car. I just figured it was the extra weight (I usualy drive alone)

The I just went on a Beer run and thats when I figured it wasnt that there was definatly something wrong.

Its prolly not this but that It feels like is 2 cylinders are firing under 4k then at 4k the other 2 kick in and boom everything is normal again...

Bad plugs maybe?...

hopefully you get it fixed cause that suck; can't help though unfortunately, but take it to a professional cause it could take you a lot of guess work and burn through your pockets

Think I might pull the Bushs out after I finish this beer and clean and regap the Denzos and put those back in...

the Busch's Have 4 .. Connectors.. not sure of the word to use, and never require gapping. They were really nice Plugs and are for the Celica. Im really at a loss... wonder if kragen will take a return on them...

er... you are very wrong from changing the sparkplugs...

the bosch's 4+ has nothing to do with gaining Performance... and it's platinum... ur stock plugs are Iridium.
Iridium > platinum.

we need Iridium to hadle the 11.5:1 compression ration of our high revving engine.

the 4+ is just there to extend the plug's life, has nothing to do with Performance.

change the plugs back now! b4 you ruin ur engine.

P.S.
be sure you buy IK22 or IK24 DENSO sparkplugs
if you want more performace go with TRD sparkplugs...i think it's from denso and it is IK24

anything lower will ruin our GTS engine.

u need "cold" sparkplugs for high compression engine.
IK22 has a "cold" number of 7-8
IK24 has a "cold" number of 9

the bigger the number the "colder"

and the bosch you bought i think has 4-5

have fun.

BTW is it cool to clean plugs with like a wire brush? I dont have a Spark Plug Cleaner. Will need the old ones back in there til I can get the Denso's

just be sure you dont scratch the plug head...

ur stock plugs are densos. thumbsup

UPDATE: Went back to Kragen they double checked and then "gave" me soem NGK's to try.. those didnt thread quite right so I didnt even try. Cleaned up my old Denso Iridiums and put them back in.. car works fine. Kragen was really cool about refunding me 100% on the first set of Plugs that didnt work. and I gave them back the NGK's.

So... Im ONLY going to get Denso Iridiums from now on smile
It was the plugs, now I jsut need to get soem Carb cleaner and do my MAF, its about time lol
