Hi, I just got my new celica about a month ago, and i have a couple of questions, if anybody could help... It would greatly be appreciated! I have a Celica GT auto. One thing i was wondering about it, is how i could get a little more kick from it in the 0-60 range. Disapointingly (i dont know if thats a word) its pretty slow. Any ideas?

Thanks

Auto celicas... GT or GTS... aren't ever going to be "fast" off the line (0-60). Even most of the mods you'll hear about are only going to help further up the powerband. You could get a TRD exhaust, AEM Intake, DC headers... they all help some for overall speed, but you'd still feel sluggish off the line. Our cars just don't make that much torque anyway, and the gearing in the auto only hurts matters.

So I guess it would probably just be better to trade it in for a manual. Another thing i was wondering is about the 4 speed in the gt auto. I noticed my car tops out at 110. Is that just because its the 4 speed?

some things to start with:

- AEM CAI
- TRD exhaust
- HS header
- AEM pulley

you'll notice a difference but unfortunately, short of getting a Turbo, there's not much else you can do...
