did you get it from crutchfield.com??? how does the navigation work?? do you just pop in a CD and u're good to go?? how does it work that's what i'm asking..

did you get it from crutchfield.com??? how does the navigation work?? do you just pop in a CD and u're good to go?? how does it work that's what i'm asking.. got it here in Santa Ana, CA but they have it on Ebay so i went there and bought it. Its an audio shop. Just starting to study it ok... -2 DVD (East & West) -Insert DVD Map (wait to initialized) -Input destination (It will calculate route) -It will give you turn-by-turn instruction (w/ voice) -If you miss the turn, it will recalculate & give you instructions again. Thats for now...

The shop i bought it told me to call them regarding the connection for that..They were charging me $250 for installation  ...

can you play music without it open? or does it always have to be open... and when its playing music does the screen dim or turn off (like some cell phones?) or is it on constantly??

I'm getting the Alpine IVA-D300 in a few weeks. I finally decided between the alpine and the pioneer. Plusetouch on the alpine=
