I work for Commerce Bank, so I parked my car on the main street. Some Jackass fucking just broke my passenger side window and take off with my stereo system. (Pioneer DEH-P8500MP, Rockford 1500 amplifier, 2 PUNCH HE2 10 subwoofer w/400watts/ 800max). They made a huge dents on the both door and the hatch. My dash is totally destroyed when they try to rip off my CD player. I got 2 way insurance so hopefully they cover this. I kinda have doubt about the cd player, amp, and woofer though because it's after market..dont' know if they cover it or not??? ayyyy...I'm so pissed!!!
well, to help you out a lil...try to tell insurance the cd player was stock, thats atleast another 1500

Responder Systems from Python are simply the most advanced 2-Way Security and Remote Start systems in the world! The interactive display on the Responder remote confirms all commands - virtually instantly - with easy to understand icons, plus text! It alerts users to security system triggers by beeping or vibrating when out of audible range of the siren. And of course the 881XP and 581XP will start your vehicle with the push of a button, and you'll get confirmation back that it started, from up to one-quarter mile away!
Insurance should cover it. I believe someone said that anythings thats attached to the car is covered. Like amps, subs, headunits. CD's and detectors are not. Sorry about your car.
I'll surely get an alarm as soon as I get the car fix. My car is just sooo messup right now. I got my receipts for the stereo and also the stereo box. I still have my stock head unit so I probably install that and keep the money for a veilside body kits and a whole new paint job.
How much do you guys think I'll get. Here is what I lost today: Pioneer DEH-P8500MP, Rockford 1500 amplifier, 2 PUNCH HE2 10 subwoofer w/400watts/ 800max)
exterior damage: They made a huge dents on both door and a big dents on the hatch and my dash is totally destroyed. Also my weather strip is kindna out of place since they drag the woofer out from there
shit that sucks! Sorry dude. Hope everything works out. I think some of that will be covered. It's not really the same thing, but when I went to school I purchased insurance on some expensive items, like all my guitar equipment, I have a $1000 pedal board set up and two guitars one of which is worth about a grand too. So I dunno if stereo stuff is like something you need to buy addition insurance for or not...
i hate to be the one that says this but insurance wont cover the stereo unless you have recipts. also the window it cost 100 bucks center console damage is like 50 bucks, stereo unless you say its stock they wont cover it all in all i think thats about 300 bucks in damages...unless your deductable is less then 100 bucks they probably wont cover it ... sorry
dont they have cameras at work, damnit they should find a better place to park, and i know other assholes saw it happend but didnt say shit, its right there in front of everyones noses. sorry this happend hope things work out
Unless you have some cut-rate company that is total crap, it covers parts that are permanently attached to your car, like a stereo, amps, wheels, ect. They won't cover things like stolen clothing, sunglasses, crap like that from inside the car. The only real problem should be establishing what it'll cost to replace everything, unless you have receipts.
I'm just a crosshair I'm just a shot away from you
I got all the receipts to my stereo system and they should cover the exterior damages too because it was made by those jacckass when they try to test if my car have an alarm the dents can be seem in the pictures by it was huge on both door. the hatch was also damages don't know y!
you wont get very much for all the aftermarket audio...

thats my biggest fear...i wanna get the biggest badest alarm...and if they ever try to steal my stuff...i want swat team to flipin show up..woo...but i am truely sorry about your car...it makes me angry just seeing the pics and reading about it...
Yeah whtat time of day was this? Im planning to get a sound sys but im not gonna change the head unit that way the wont be able to see the subs in the back under the tray. Im also afraid of random vadalism cause some foos out there are just haters.
how didnt anyone see that? or did they think who ever was ripping off the goods was the owner, and was locked out?? maybe you should ask the surrounding stores for video, if they have any of the street view
My car got broke into at between 7a.m. to 11a.m. on downtown main street Thank you guys for cheering me up. Hopefully they'll cover my stereo system since I got the receipts for the items and paperworks that show when it was install.
exactly, someone must have seen them in the act... if it would've been me I'd have beat the mess outta them - especially after seeing it was a celica they were misappropriating
