Does anyone know if there is a way to purchase the light bulb from the circuit board that lights up the A/C control knobs?
The guy at the dealership didn't know, said I could buy the entire assembly for $60 and take out the $4 lights...
I don't want to give them $54, does anyone know of an electronics store or something where I might find one?

Going through the same thing right now. I was playing around with some hyper blue LED's last night. The results were pretty good.
You can solder them right to the board. Walmart up here was carrying a package of 4 (wired for 12 volt)for $9.95 (CDN) in red or blue. I'll post pics when they're done.
might save you a few bucks and give you a more custom look.

how do you get the board out? part of the problem I think, is that the board only comes out so far because that "band" of white power (maybe?) cable holds it in there pretty good (thats how I snapped the blub ) How do you get it out to put the LED's on? Besides, I'm not going for a custom look, I'd just like the color to match like the '03 celi.. Why have an amber dash and green controls?

I couldn't figure out how to get that band thingy detached either! I just did my soldering in car (such a rebel ) But if you're careful, you can get the board off. Just pull out the black plastic cover infront of it, you'll notice a hole in the middle (roughly lined up with the fan speed dial). If you move it slightly, the board pulls off. From here, you just have to turn the bulb a 1/2 turn and it pulls out. You can get any color led at an electronics shop too. but bulbs are way easier. hope that explains it a little. Aaron

I've had the bulbs out, thats how they got broken.
If someone could find a bulb I'd be VERY happy!
