I just put in a APR upper engine strut bar and I know in the install guide it says not to tighten to much... i am getting this creaking noise wheni turn the wheels and a lil when I drive.. I checked the bolts after i drove it and tighten a lil more...any got any ideas??

thats what people who have the apr say, thtat they hear a popping sound or squeaky sound when turning. i thinks thats normal for the apr, check the reviews for the apr strut bar

Fuck APR, I'm going Hypermotive for the bling factor... too many complaints about this bar leads me to decide on another one.

get tanabe or hypermotive~

My apr is always creacking. There are two hex screws on each side under the bar that need to be tighted (or thats how it was for me) only problem is you have to take the bar off completly. If i could afford it right now i would look into buying another bar but i guess i will live with the creaks till i can.

i think you can install the bar with the two hex screws facing upward..n e ways, i had apr before and had the same problem(popping noise). it annoyed the hell out of me so i sold it and got tanabe instead... thumbsup

yah dude..not to happy with this bar...I would sell it and get a hypermotive one but im holding off on all mods for a month or so till I pay off some credit card bills then I'll be orderin that SF Turbo kit thumbsup

i put an APR on about 3 months ago ,,, havent had any problems out of it
