i guess you can say, it depends how you drive if you're always engaging in lift, which could make it wear out faster.
taking out the bolts just to check on them is a waste; unless ur gonna change them.
yes, lift bolts wear out faster on the 00-01.
I reccomend changing them every 3rd oil change. they are only $0.50. Better to replace them early then to have one break
if you race a lot change your oil every 2,000 miles.
