Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior TRD Muffler

You may have seen my earlier enquiry about an exhaust set up.I have now just put my car up on the hosts and had a look.

I have a 3" down pipe going into my Cat converter, then my resonator and standard piping down to the muffler. I have just noticed that the muffler is TRD muffler (is that standard or aftermarket???)

This is what I intend to do, YAY or NAY.

Keep the down pipe (3"), Remove Cat converter (legal in NZ), keep resonator, then 2 1/4" pipe down to TRD muffler and final out the back of the pretty chrome RPS tip.

Am I going to get best performance out of the TRD muffler?!?!

where did you get the downpipe?

i think it's a custom made.

Well the whole exhuast system was on the car from purchase.

The down pipe is at least 3" but i'm not entirly sure, It may be bigger, that is what the dude at "Performance Exhuast" recons.

Oh and I have seen it for myself
