I saw a couple of celica's from another site ( www.teamcelica.com [ teamcelica.com]) and they had digital climate controls. Anyone know were to get them? If so how much?

it will rip you a new one - just like most parts from Japan... import prices alone make it pointless

Well i thought it would be cool to have a digital style instead of a turn the knob style for the climate controls plus it just makes it look cleaner. Just my opinion.

Your best bet is to order the part through your toyota dealer. If you fit it yourself you could save a lot of money, but I'd just pay the extra and have them do it properly. I ordered a new console lid for the little compartment between the passenger and drivers seat the other week because it got scratched and it cost me 52.00GBP, roughly 75 dollars, so i'd set aside a cool thousand to get it done.
Heres a better pic

the conversion for putting that in your car will cost you around $450-$550. all because you have to buy a motor and the actual unit itself. the digital unit itself costs about $300 alone, it's really expensive only because stock jap parts always cost a shitload. here's a pic of the schematics:

^^ he prolly has the stock stereo cause he/she doesn't live in the US and it came on the car, you know like in Japan or Norway, huh who'da thunk. Also it's more than just the motors because you have to program it into the ECU and that requires a JDM ECU or someone willing to reprogram it, I priced it all out a while ago it was a cool $1000+ prolly closer to $1,200 when it's all done. I say fuck it, besides that it's harder to change the temps quickly like with the dail. I'd save the cash and get some Tein SS coilovers.
