I am so pissed, after dinner, I went on free way, because I got an exam tomorrow, so I wanted to go home earlier and study, so I drive 80mph, then I got pull over buy a cop, because it's night, I didnt know it's cop. And everyone drive fast, he only pull over me...shit...anyone knows how much it's going to be? Damn...I was planning to get an Intake...now it's gone.

the highway patrol in florida only come out at certain times, morning and afternoon and late night. They only stay out for a couple hours. What you have to watch for in florida is the county police, they are like rodents.

Where in the bay did you get pulled over at? and Sparty speed limit here is 65... use to be like 55 yrs ago... but yah heck if theres no one around 80 is the norm but against the law

dude, im not tryin to bust your balls but ya got the ticket because you where doing 15 mph over the limit. the cops doing his job, thats why he gets paid. ive gotten 4 speeding tickets but i dont get pissed at the cop, if im gonna speed i know the consequences and im responsable.i know it sucks but if you dont want a ticket than do the speed limit.

You are right, I was thinking that way. But the reason I was mad at the cop is because you know, at night everyone drive around 75, some even faster, and the car (cop) kept getting closer to me, at that time I didnt know it's cop, I dont like cars following me so close, and I speed up little, from 75->80, and then he pulled me over. Man, now I am afriad to drive on free way now, because I usually drive around 70~80mph. Another reason I was mad because I didnt mean to race, I just wanted to get home earlier to perpare my exam...

if they offer traffic school than you should go. it will keep 1 point from being added to your record and thats what insurance companies look at.if you dont go your insurance will go up..trust me i know

sheesh, americans ooooh, i was going 80MPH and got pulled over godamn, the fastest you can EVER go in Canada is like 65mph MAX. Of course people go a bit faster on the highways but fuck dude, 80? i'm crying so hard its watering down my bowl of cereal

if it's your first ticket then you're cool - no traffic school its different here in cali. i have three points of my record and my insurance doubled...it sucks..i got 3 tickets within one month( its like i turned into a cop magnet or something) and you have to wait 18 months after traffic school to be able to go again...so i could only get rid of 1 ticket

That sucks but I have to agree with clockwork too. He was just doing his job, now if you got pulled over for tints and shit...I've been pulled over like 3 times but have talked my way out of it each time luckily.

I just got pulled over about 2 weeks ago and now I have to pay around $1000. They got me for altering/changing height of vehicle while in motion, not signaling, and following to closely (supposedly). And I had been driving so when like for a year until that happened. Anyways, I can go to school for one of those tickets but the others i'm stuck with!

Bad luck and bad idea doing 80mph at night. You will not see them coming. I got pulled over on last Christmas Eve near bay area, following too close! He came behind me and I didn't realize. I was in a red Mustang though. The cop just gave me the warning. Hey, they're just doing their jobs. Protect and serve!

What happened if I didnt go?? Would my insurance be more expensive? But this is my first ticket. Even your first ticket will bump up your insurance rates if you don't go through with traffic school. I'd go for sure. American speed limits suck. They are so low because 1) most people are morons and can't drive over here and 2) because the government uses them for revenue. It sucks that you got busted... it's stupid that we have a law that the government KNOWS gets broken 99% of the time. Instead of coming up with something reasonable, they continue selective (and usually unfair) enforcement.

take the traffic school online at www.trafficschoolonline.com. [ trafficschoolonline.com.] thats what i did when i got my ticket. i went 40 in a 25 area and the ticket was about 140 something. if you need any help with it ask me i live in the bay area too
