Hello all and I would just like to intorduce myself a little before we go too much further. I am Lance Holcomb owner of Elite Carbon Designs in Midland Texas. It is a very new company here and is currently stuck in the backyard of my house. But to not let that fact fool you, we do live up to our name. I will be happy to post up some pics of the shop and a few samples of our work until we get our web site up (swamped with new place and getting parts ready). Our shop can do FibreGlass, Carbon Fibre, and Kevlar. We are still new to the business so we may be a little slow, but we will be happy to boast satisfaction is gauranteed since everyone working here seems to be a perfectionist when it comes to our work. At this moment we are only doing the traditional look carbon fiber and none of the blue/red/yellow/ etc. but we will be adding these to our line very soon. The reason for this post is that we have the machinery, materials, and want, but no clue what the parts you all are dreaming about are. I am asking for a few suggestions on the parts we open our store on the internet with should be, and if you like even a price you would like to see. We are going to try to slash the current prices of anyone else out there seeing as how we are all "ricers" as well. Right now I am thinking of making every interior peice to the car along with the fenders (but not able to do hoods right now... the current autoclaves are just barely too small). So please let me know what you would like to see, have seen, or what is lurking in your imagination. We would be glad to do some custom work as well, and in fact look forward to it. So once again please post up what you would love to see and maybe a prioce you would love to see it at. Just remember at this very moment we are only doing your traditional carbon fibre, Fiberglass, and can do kevlar as well (although we havn't yet). Let em fly boys. You can contact me by phone at 432-697-5792 after 6pm central time, or please feel free to e-mail me at Administrator@midcomachine.com

hey mukalicious I do not see that being a problem at all, you want it with the hinged door at the top still I will have to figure that one out but I am sure it still will not be a problem. And timo I knew sub enclosures would come up, but I do not think we will be touching on that for a while now, it is just that every car is an individual and making exact fits and things of that nature are things that we would need the car for. Now if you would like to come see us I am sure we can do it that way. PM me if your interested

if you can make carbon fiber engine plastic replacements with the same quality or better than iptmotorsports at way way less than there cost that would be awesome. along with the center console and gauge bezel replacement that would be bulk of your profit there

man didn't think this would get such a response. ok timo again, if you just want a very basic box we can do that, but if your thinking of what am thinking of we probably can not. and the blade from the wing, are you talking TRD or the wing that was part of the action package, I was told there are slight differences. And tru I will do some math on the engine plastics and shoot you a price tonight hopefully, or first thing tomorrow. however I have the GT model celi and do not know anyone with the GTS so I would have to snag some plastics somehow to make molds off of. But I will do my best to get both prices to you by tonight.

I am sure it can be arranged. with what I have right now I can not do it, but getting the supplies necessary will not be a problem either. Keep the ideas flying, and again try to come up with a price you would like to see on it, we will do our best to meet those prices. Thanks for the info so far though

I'd be very interested in engine plastics, also. Of course depending on price and the quality/grade of the carbon fiber that is used.

ok for those of you interested in the center console I have started a post in th group buy section as well, at the moment still no price listed, but as I see how many ppl are interested I will be able to get lower and lower on my price of course. Please post there and just say you would be interested given right price and grade hehe. For sub enclosures, if you are looking for your basic enclosure like you find at the sotre please state if you want ported sealed or bandpass, and if there is a particular one you have seen that you are interested in please tell me the brand and whatever else =p. Engine plastics, as I stated before I only have the '02 GTS available to me right now, but will look into getting the GTS as well. I will let you guys know on that asap.

however I have the GT model celi and do not know anyone with the GTS so I would have to snag some plastics somehow to make molds off of. But I will do my best to get both prices to you by tonight. well the only diffrence on the platics between the gt and gts is the engine cover the rest(large fuse box, smallfuse box,ecu cover, large passenger cover(left)) they are all the same measurements so all you need is the main engine cover

ok timo again, if you just want a very basic box we can do that, but if your thinking of what am thinking of we probably can not. Damn, it would be cool if you could do a custom subenclosure. maybe in the future? I dont really want just a reg box, I need something that will stick out. Which is why I was thinkin carbon fiber. Well its something for your consideration, maybe sometime in the future when taking orders for custom sub enclosures (if at all) we could just give you a sketch, picture, or something to that effect to work with. And then you take it from there. and the blade from the wing, are you talking TRD or the wing that was part of the action package, I was told there are slight differences. I was talkin about the blade for the wing from the action package. But make sure its got the 3rd brake light please! Heres a list of all the stuff that was mentioned so far, just tryin to ease the pain for ya bro 1) Center Console, stock and JDM 2) Gauge Bezel 3) Sub Enclosures 4) Engine Plastics 5) Blades for wings 6) A Pillars 7) The frame around the gauges 8) AC Vents 9) Door Panel Inserts

maybe some carbon fibre winshield visor things...with or without the mirror. possibly a replacement for the lid in the center console...where you would rest your arm at. and with the center consoles maybe you get custom with slots for video screens. how about washer nozzles in carbon fibre? what about a carbon fibre hatch replacement that doesnt say "celica." and to comment on the pillars that go behind the seats and to the back...can you have an option on those without the cutout for seatbelts...so it looks cleaner for those wanting to go with harnesses? those are just ideas i have/want...

If you could do a Carbon Fiber JDM center console I would grab one of those... and a Fuel Door would be awesome too. And if the engine dress set for a GTS was priced right. Hmmmm...

ok guys finally made it back to the house.. sorry for the wait. VSGTS I havn't yet heard ofthe company carbonTrix but will definately look into them. I haven't yet found a Carbon Fiber dual gauge pillar, but would love to see some out there. Alright Timo draw mesomething up and e-mail it to meand I will see what we can work out on the carbon fiber enclosure. And the I too ahve the action packagewing so I bet I can make copy of it fairly easy, but I am not electrician by far, so let me do a little more research on it. Also Thanks for the list man was a great help. Octa From the sound of things you want me to do all the plastics from the front door back, if that is right let me know, if not I am probably just misunderstanding you. Super I am sure that I can spit out a couple visors for you, but I will not be putting mirrors in them ( not really sure how to well enough to sell them with a good conscience). I will be getting my arm rest readyto make the mold tonight for you as well. Will let you know on that A.S.A.P. And washer nozzles may be a royal pain in the arse, but will look into that one as well. And I hear you on the rear celica that you get stuck with. I hadn't even thought about gettin rid of it yet thanks for the idea =p. Sultan I am going to order a duel gauge pod later this week and will get on that right away as well. Right now my two main projects are going to be that gauge pod, and the center console. Will hopefully have a set price on them by the end of the week as well. Sstep I will do my best to price out on the gas door at the same time, but I never dreamed that there would be this kind of a responce so I am alreadyfalling a little behind. I apologize to you all about that. And with the popularity along with the JDM console I will be ordering one of those as soon as I can find one as well. Thank you all again for your suggestions, and please keep any ideas coming.

How about a full replacement A-pillar with three spots for gauges? Or just two even, I dont really like the look of just slapping on a piece of plastic to the already existing pillar.

1) Center Console, stock and JDM 4) Engine Plastics 5) Blades for wings 6) A Pillars w/ gauge pods 7) The frame around the gauges Of the 9 things listed above and what has been mentioned... My feeling is these 5 will sell the most. Also, what grade carbon fiber will you be using? Edit: damn, called it Fiberglass originally.

Ok I give up you guys I am going to pull every piece of my car apart and make it all outta Carbon Fiber But seriously I now have the back piece on the hatch both with and without the celica. Left A pillar with 2 gauge pods and the right pillar OEM style. And Timo I am not selling a cover to anything. All my products are going to be full replacement real carbon fiber. Just to clear that one up. Ok I gotta get out to the shop and start working on some of this

ok guys I also have to agree with XXMerlinXX the products listed there are the first ones we are going to start producing. I will begin the molds on the this weekend and will have pics of our sample parts out asap (gotta go buy a camera first lol). I will do my best to get some pics of some motorcycle parts we have done just to give you guys an idea on the type of work we do. I do not think anyone will be disappointed. I will try to find a camera or run to best buy and buy myself one by tomorrow. Thank you again for all your ideas and your interest, and I hope we can be doing business very soon.

ok here is the deal. I will get some pics posted of some previous parts that we have built (motorcycle parts) just to show you guys the quality of my work. But it will now be next weekend before I can even hope to post up finished products and prices. ran into some trouble with zoning laws in Midland or something along those lines. None the Less before I get started I have to move lol. So this week will be stuck moving all our stuff to the new location. Sorry about the trouble there, but I promise the wait will be worth while. But I will get some pics of our work to hold you guys over until then. Sorry again not how I wanted to start out introducing our company to you guys.
