yea isnt greddy's sound loudness equivelant to the TRD's??? i heard that its really not loud at all and that some one here took the muffler part and just left the tip canister and sounds nice anyone else done this with the greddy??
but i really think these types of threads should stop.. theres so many about which exhaust you would pick, what looks better, what performs better etc...
if you want loud go with TSRM...I believe it's the loudest at 3000 RPMs (93 dB).
TRD would be the 2nd loudest, but would give you the best gains.
Greddy EVO is quiet during idle but roars when you accelerate, AND it gives the most clearance so you won't have to worry about scratching it up. I've got the EVO
For a clean look with the most legal power available, TRD. For a more aggressive style, TSRM, also note that the dyno proved TRD only gives you .2 whp more then the TSRM. In my opinion, that .2 isnt worth losing the looks and sound of the TSRM, just my opinion though.
I have a Greddy Evo II on my GTS. It is not really any louder than stock. I am pretty disappointed as far as volume. It sounds better than stock, but is the same as far as volume. Once I find the time, I am going to remove the mid-canister and leave the back canister and tip. I'll let you know how it sounds.
I can tell your from experience that APEX n1 sounds like what your looking for. Not obnoxious at all, but much nicer than trd (same deep sound, but not as quiet as trd).
Go with GReddy, gives you the most withotut getting too loud. Probably on of the most quieter exhaust systems. Wasn't able to find one which was quieter, asides from stock.

what about kazuma compared to tsrm in the sound factor and in how big they are everyone says that that the tsrm is too big is that true with the kuzuma as well
KAZUMA is not big because its just a straight thru pipe setup..
If your looking for Performance heres the top 3:
1 KAZUMA (Off Road Use Only, Illegal on Streets, 15-20HP if ECU is tuned, VERY LOUD) 2 TRD (Quiet almost as Stock) 3 TSRM (Great Sound, but .2 less HP than TRD)

.2 hp is nothing. You can save that by taking out the driver side floor mat before you race. Dynos can even change the real hp by 1 or 2 hp they arent that accurate. Decide between trd and tsrm for the look or sound not because .2 hp!
ya im doing my research on the invidia exhaust i heard a clip a long time ago and it sounded nice but i lost it right now im deciding on TSRM, Trd or invidia...i have one more week of yanking out my hair over this but hopefully after i hear the TSRM which is the only one left for me to hear (in person tho) then ill make up my mind. . .thx all 4 the opinions and comments helped alot
after having TRD, i gotta say, i love the power. But the sound too soft for me. Its got good deep sound, but its not loud enough to turn the heads. So i sold mine and ordered the Apexi N1 exhaust I heard sounds like trd, but much deeper. Not to ricy. And much lighter. Well all the exhaust are same i think. From the list you have, i would go with TRD, Apexi n1, or borla, they all sound pretty much the same and same gains. However TSRM has very very deep sound but i think its too loud. i think its little too big for bodykits
