I think it would be a good idea for everyone that has painted something on their own car to list the brand and color of the paint they used.
I am very meticulous with the types and colors of paint i use. There are thousands of paint brands and colors out there and instead of each of us going out to purchase EVERY single can out there and testing it out, i would like for those with positive results to tell everyone what brand and color they used.
Generally, I am asking for spray paints out there that can match the actual body color of the car. For those who know me, I've probably bought over 200 cans of spraypaint and none have matched anything i would like. So whoever knows of any good paintbrands and colors out there, post up.

actually i kno how to paint...i'm not asking how to paint. i'm asking if anyone knows some spray can paints that will MATCH the color of the car. i'm asking this for ppl that know how to repair dents and scratches but would rather not take their cars to get painted w/ expensive paint.
there are some paint brands that come in a can that match stock colors, but i haven't found the correct silver color to match 1D0. i'm looking for a match for the silver celica color. if anyone can help, thanks.

do you guys paint the bottom of the plastic or just the top? to paint the bottom do you have to paint the top first. let it dry then the bottom or there a method to painting them. cause i want to paint mine but i'm not so sure about that.

To be honest man, just get them done by a professional, it only cost about $100-150 and its perfect (whole Center console, gauge bazel, and fuse cover) . I did mine myself but after about 1 year the paint started to bubble and flake off. Trust me, get it done right the frist time because you have to look at it every day, and if it messed up you will be pissed.
