hey guys, sup, im new but i already gots a question

i got a new Viper 650XV system installed yesterday but the installer wasn't able to do windows by remote

the fuses kept blowing on him i guess since the celica window amperage is .5 and the DEI-modules are designed to work with 20-30 i guess

does anybody know what to do? or have any experience? Or know how to fix it?

Your installer doesn't know what he's doing (or he's lazy). Wires need to be run into the doors and the module need to be wired in series between the relay and the window motors. He's probably trying to wire them at the switch...rookie mistake.
There is nothing special about how the window motors work in a Celica.

hey diablo: thanks a lot

and JLATD: Im pretty sure he's not a newbie since he's MECP certified and there's only about 80 in the US. i researched a lot and called a lot of places before i decided on Fox Collision and Security in IL.

but basically, DEI didn't recommend installing it when he called them so im just looking for ideas

but anyways, i'll give him a call again and see if he came up with antyhing

thanks so far with you came up with guys
