Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior My alarm died...I think

How much would a replacement alarm horn cost me. I bought a Code Alarm from Circuit City (the one in my area actually does good installs). Well, we've had really bad rain here and the horn itself got drenched. Now it sounds muffled. Any ideas?

where did they place the horn under the hood? it's not suppose to drenched when it rain, unless rains was pouring directly on it as if you car have no hood..Other then that i'm clueless..good luck though

i dunno if yours got broken or not but a similar thing happend to my g/f's car comming from a car wash it got wet and had the same muffled sound so we though it was busted. we didnt drove it the rest of the day and that night its started working fine again so i guess the water dried up and works fine ever since.
so you might wanna let it dry fully

yea. give the horn time to dry. if that still doesn't work you can get one on ebay for under 20 bucks.
