Yeah, calling lemon isn't really a good thing. Big hassle, gonna have to get an attorney, plus your not going to get a lot of cash out of it. Do you still have factory warranty? If not, you can check this out http://www.dmv.org/lemon-law.php

I think a lemon is a car that keeps breaking, but is not repairable. They are telling you that after they fix it, you shouldnt have to bring it back for the same problem, but with a lemon, it will not stay fixed.

I would personally, but I dont know if there are different things causing that same problem, you know what I mean? It just depends on what they are saying is wrong. If you had different things fixed each time, then its technically not a lemon.

Cut your losses and dump it esp if the warranty is up soon. This sounds bad, but find some idiot and sell the car, it looks nice, you shouldnt have a problem gettin rid of it. Let it become their problem

dude, complain to the dealer. tell them that ur a human being and bought a toyota for its reliability, or else you could have bought hyundai with 100,0000000 miles warranty. have them fix it and have the problem go away. no other celicas having these troubles, or barely few. it just cant be that all the bad engines are going in ur bay. something is wrong that they arent telling you about or their not doing there work right. maybe you should take it to another toyota dealer around u. if problem comes up again, i would definetely seek for an attorneys help if toyota doesnt become more helpful

lemon law in NY:
the car has to be in the dealer three times for the SAME EXACT REASON.
Or the car has to be in the Shop for at least 5 straight days with no repair. Then you have to call the lemon board and get them to accept the case. No lawyer is neccessary. However, it is very hard to win a case!
My car might be slow, but at least it looks nice!

See if you can get rid of it before it's left on your hands. Look into the lemon law and see if you could use it.

Lemon: an acid fruit that contains citric acid and vitamin C, is botanically a many-seeded pale yellow oblong berry, and is produced by a stout thorny tree of the genus Citrus
