i was wanting to know if there is anyone out there that know were i can buy this the blitz suppercharger at i tryed blitz usa but i cant find it if you know of any one that has this and is welling to sell well am the buyer hit me up with some INFO

personally, i say fuck this supercharger an get a Turbo... for the money being spent NOWHERE near enough HP gained.

you bolt on a supercharger Turbo you have to wrestle in a header all the piping the intercooler not to mention theres no Turbo lag and nearly all the Turbo systems for the gts have had nothing but prolems not to mention a supercharger is a lil less painful for the engine

I 've heard that the SC is a lot nicer to the engine. Less problems.
I'm gonna take your little Civic. Dust it off. Turn it sideways and stick it straight up you candy A*s.

you bolt on a supercharger Turbo you have to wrestle in a header all the piping the intercooler not to mention theres no Turbo lag and nearly all the Turbo systems for the gts have had nothing but prolems not to mention a supercharger is a lil less painful for the engine of course a Turbo is gonna be a longer install but when it comes to something like a Turbo/supercharger i personally would have a credible shop do the install for me. turbo lag... running these t3/t4's you spool up around 2000rpm... correct me if im wrong but you get to 2000 rpm pretty damn quick an as for reliable... for almost $6,000 you can build yourself a VERY nice Turbo kit.

theres still the reliability issue with 6,000 you would be able to make a nice little t3/t4 set up..power fc..oil & fuel mods you would be able to run that 6-8psi everyday safely. spend alil extra money for engine internals an you can boost even higher. but don't tell him to scrap his idea and do something eles thats not very nice its his car not yours i never told him to scrap his idea.. i said PERSONALLY i would do the Turbo over the $6,000 supercharger. not flaming... just tryin to save him some money.

In my opinion go Supercharged, it looks better, its less harmful to your engine in the long run, less possibility of running into problems, easy install, but you will sacrafice the horsepower increase vs Turbo if you consider the cost. good luck

what are you using the car for. that is the question that should be asked all the time when considering forced induction. Drag go Turbo, you spend more time in the high rpms. AutoX go supercharger, you spend more time in the lower end.

then jump in a Turbo car in which the person spent the same 6grand investing into their Turbo, and you will kick yourself in the ass.
if Turbos weren't reliable, they wouldn't be putting them on vehicles from the factory. just save yourself some money and get yourself a Turbo.

Thank you... thats what i wanted to say this whole time... turbos are just as reliable as a supercharger, just dont be an asshole an crank up the boost then wonder why your engine is fucked an start pointing fingers at the wrong people.

there are pros & cons to both setups,
Turbos have lag, they break a lot easier, and getting everything tuned properly is more involved. You are also required to run an intercooler to crank up the boost. On the plus side, Turbos are more efficient, and there is almost zero parasitic loss with a Turbo, since it's driven by exhaust pressure. there's also more room for fine-tuning once everything is installed.
Superchargers are heavier than a Turbo, and there is parasitic loss, since most superchargers are driven by the crank pulley (or another pulley, or an axle, it depends on the kit). Those that are not pulley driven are usually electric, and those, while some actually work (like the knight engineering electric SC) require a bank of batteries and large electric motor drives, which eliminate parasitic loss, but increases weight, so it sort of balances out.
On the plus side, Superchargers are more reliable, less prone to breaking, and can use intercoolers to safely handle more boost just like a Turbo. most SC's don't require an oil line, since they're permanently lubed via sealed bearing cases, they can be clutch driven, so unlike a Turbo, they don't have to be running boost all the time, and there is no lag with an SC. Rather than making BOV/wastegate/boost controller adjustments to change boost settings, you can simply change a pulley on the SC to do the same thing (although a BOV/controller may be used as well in high-end setups). Instead of waiting for the motor to reach 2K rpms, you will get boost starting even lower in the revs, and down low, our cars need all the help they can get.
Yes, it's true that a lot of cars come with a Turbo from the factory these days, but the same is true for superchargers, Superchargers are also time-proven, they've been around longer than Turbos, so, as long as you buy from an established company, the results will be good, and the SC will be reliable, but the same goes for a good Turbo setup. It all depends on your personal tastes.

...you can run no boost with a Turbo just gotta disconnect wastegate actuator arm (all you need is a pair of needle nose pliers)
an as for the instant boost with a supercharger, insted of having to wait until 2k rpms... when you launch a fwd car you need as much traction as possible. and plus if you think about it... 2,000 rpms comes VERY quick

i read somewhere on this website that the blitz only puts out 35 hourse and 36lbs torque. to me 35 hourse power for 5000$, i wouldnt wast my money
