According to TPR's product literature the TPR CAI doesnt throw CELs because it has correct MAF environment dimensions and fins near the MAF.

Celica's MAF and ECM are calibrated to detect and calculate air flow thru a 2.5 inch opening with fins.

Both AEM and Injen place the MAF in a 2.75 inch finless tube environment which throws off the MAF readings, thus the CELs and the respective losses and bogs at hi or low end.
