Hey guys. I'm planning to polish my manifold this summer. I have a friend who polished his 300zx TT manifold a couple weeks ago, so he's gonna help me. But I was wondering if anyone here has done this? If so, please PM me and post pics on this forum. THANKS!

Also, any advice for me? Does anyone have an "install guide" link for this project?

you mean the Intake manifold right, cause it doesnt seem like a finish that will sand or buff shiny. do you mean your gonna have it chrome plated or something? anyway, it doesnt look too involving to remove the Intake, but I would just be sure to cover/protect the Intake ports into the side of the head while its apart.

wait, so why wouldn't it buff shiny? this is my first time polishing. I'm doing the valve cover for SURE, but i'm not positive about the Intake manifold (because i hear the new gasket seal is like $50. ouch).

if you want it shiny why dont you just chrome plate it and forget about it. would be ten times easier thumbsup

i have more time than money. so i want to do the work myself, cheaply. plus i like doing all my own mods. some people gain more from hard work they do on their own car rather than letting someone else do it for cash.
